2015 High School Graduating Senior Scholarship Awards
DATE: June 4, 2015 The Exchange Club of Windsor announces $7000 Awarded in at the annual Scholarships Award Ceremony at Windsor High School. WINDSOR, CT — The Exchange Club of Windsor is pleased to announce the distribution of $7,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors of the Windsor Community. Six Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 and Two Scholarships in the amount of $500 were awarded. The first scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to Calliana Faulk, an engineering major who received our John F. “Jack” Shaughnessey Scholarship, The second scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to Lucas Malloy, an accounting major who received the Robert “Bob" Field Scholarship These 2 scholarships are awarded in honor of 2 long time members who for decades gave their all to the the Club & Windsor Community and have since past away. The third scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to our A.C.E recipient Sazia Mariah Coleman. Three other $1,000 scholarships were awarded to: Raquel Solla, Allie Cigal, Toni Ambrosino. Two $500 scholarships were awarded to: Lauren Canoni & Megan Canoni. The Exchange Club is so proud of our recipients and wish nothing but the best as they venture on to college. The Exchange Club members work throughout the year on fundraising projects. We have just produced & delivered our 51st edition of our annual town-wide "Windsor Telephone Directory. The club consists of men and women, business leaders and owners living in and around Windsor, who meet twice a month beginning in the fall through spring to strategize and find ways to enhance community projects and activities while giving back to our community! |
